Sometimes a yard just needs a reset. Not a full renovation - just fresh mulch, cleaned-up beds, and crisp edges that make the whole property feel sharp again. That's exactly what we did here in Tolland.
This property had beds running along the front of the house, around trees in the yard, along the side, and out back near the patio. Each one got weeded out, re-edged, and topped with a fresh layer of rich brown mulch. It's a lot of ground to cover, and the difference between before and after is exactly what you'd expect - everything just looks intentional again.
Good mulch does more than look nice. It holds moisture in the soil, keeps weed pressure down, and protects plant roots. When you keep up with it regularly, your beds stay healthier and you spend a lot less time fighting weeds by hand. The edging is what ties it all together - that clean separation between the lawn and the bed makes both look better.
We worked around everything on this property - foundation plantings, ornamental trees, rock-bordered beds, the area around the back patio, all of it. No shortcuts. Every bed got the same attention whether it was front-and-center or tucked around the side of the house.
If your yard in Tolland is starting to look a little rough around the edges, a cleanup and mulch install is usually the fastest way to get it back on track.
