We had a busy stretch of jobs lately - and honestly, that's exactly how we like it. A couple of mulch installs kept the crew moving, and the mowing schedule stayed right on track. When everything clicks like that, you can really see the results pile up.

Here's the thing about mulch that a lot of homeowners don't think about until they're pulling weeds every other week - fresh mulch does a lot more than just look good. It holds moisture in the soil, which is huge during stretches of dry summer heat, and it creates a barrier that makes it a lot harder for weeds to take hold and spread. Less watering, less weeding. That's a real win.

Before we get to the mulch, the beds need to be ready for it. We cleared out the weeds, cleaned up the edges, and got every bed looking sharp before a single scoop of mulch went down. That prep work is what separates a clean finished job from one that just looks okay for a few weeks. Taking the time to properly edge and weed the beds means the mulch actually does its job instead of just covering problems up.

The front beds around the large shade tree came out especially well. Dark mulch against green grass and blooming shrubs is a combination that immediately tightens up the look of a whole property. It frames everything - the plants, the driveway, the house itself. The side and rear beds got the same treatment, keeping the whole property consistent from every angle.

We kept the mowing on schedule through all of it too. That's something we take seriously - when you're on our schedule, you stay on our schedule. The lawn and the beds all got the attention they needed without anything slipping through the cracks.
