Here's what we were working with - a large arborvitae hedge that had grown way out of shape. It was bulging, uneven, and starting to take over the yard. That kind of overgrowth doesn't just look messy. It can stress the plant out over time and make the whole property feel unkempt.
We got in there and shaped the entire hedge back to a clean, structured line. The difference is night and day. The yard opens up, the fence line is visible again, and everything just looks like it belongs together instead of fighting for space.
This is the kind of trimming and pruning work that seems simple on the surface but takes a real eye for shape and proportion. Cut too much in the wrong spots and you're left with brown, dead patches that take seasons to fill back in. Cut too little and you're back to square one in a few weeks.
We've done a lot of hedge and bush work around Tolland, and every job gets the same attention. No rushing through it, no leaving clippings behind, and no cutting corners just to get to the next stop. The customer was happy, and honestly, so were we - it's satisfying to leave a property looking this clean.
Whether it's a single overgrown shrub or a full hedge line like this one, consistent trimming keeps things manageable and looking sharp all season long.
