Overgrown Beds Cleaned Up with Fresh Mulch and Sharp Edges

The beds around this home had gotten away from it. Weeds had taken over, shrubs were pushing into the siding, and the whole front and side of the house just looked neglected. That's a pretty common situation - life gets busy and the yard falls behind. We came in and did a full overhaul.

We started by pulling all the weeds out of the beds and hauling everything off the property. From there, we got into the shrub trimming and pruning - cutting each one back to a clean, healthy shape and giving them actual room to breathe. Some of them were seriously overgrown. A few had volunteer trees sprouting up right in the middle of the beds that needed to go entirely.

Once the beds were cleared and the shrubs were shaped up, we cut clean edges along every bed line and laid down fresh red mulch throughout. That part makes a big difference. The color pops against the green lawn, the edges give everything a defined, intentional look, and the whole property reads completely differently than it did when we pulled up.

What we ended up with is a front and side yard that actually looks like someone lives there and takes care of the place. Clean lines, healthy plants, and beds that are ready to stay manageable with regular upkeep going forward. That's really the goal - get it back to a point where maintaining it is simple.
